LEAD-IN

1. What does the word “robot” mean? Do robots just complete the tasks or can make decisions? Where is robot’s brain? What constituents compose robot’s brain? Read the following words and think of possible connection between them all or some of them: oscillator, microprocessor, A/D converter, RAM, program memory, microcontroller. Work in small groups. Think of the positive and negative effect(s) of robots’ intervention justifying it (them) with three reasons. The second group should disprove their point with three reasons.
