London

London is the capital of England. It is a very big city.

There are a lot of things to see in London. Trafalgar square is popular with tourists. There is a statue of lord Nelson there.

Oxford street is a very busy place. It is famous for its shops and restaurants.

The river Thames is in the middle of London. It is 200 miles long.

Buckingham palace is where the queen of England lives. It is very big and beautiful.

London is a wonderful city. It is a great place for a trip.

My neighbourhood. The place I like to come back.

I live in a small town Davlekanovo in a block of flats. It is a grey 5-storeyed building. Our flat is on the second floor. I live with my parents, my little sister and a dog, Lucky by name. It is a three bedroom flat, rather comfortable. It faces south, so it is often sunny and light. I like the place where I live. In my neighbourhood you can find everything you need: a supermarket, a hospital, several schools and kindergartens and 2 libraries. There is also a cinema. Everything is quite close to me and easy to reach. Help is always at hand! The transport system is not rather developed in my district. And sometimes public transport does not come on time. What is more, the traffic is heavy in the rush hours and we lack parking places. Also there is no park to take my dog for a walk.
