Выполнение контрольных заданий и оформление контрольных работ

1. На 2 курсе студент должен выполнить контрольные задания № 3 (III семестр, срок выполнения - ноябрь) и № 4 (IV семестр, срок выполнения - апрель).

2. Контрольные работы выполняются в отдельной тетради/на отдельных листах бумаги. На обложке/титульном листе надо писать свою фамилию, имя, отчество, адрес, номер контрольной работы

3. Работы следует писать чернилами (или шариковой ручкой, не карандашом), аккуратно, четким почерком; на клетчатой бумаге пишите через клетку. Оставляйте широкие поля для замечания рецензента, не пользуйтесь красными чернилами или пастой - этим цветом пользуется рецензент.

4. Выполняйте задания в той последовательности, в которой они даны, и под указанными номерами.

5. Точно и полностью пишите формулировку заданий и соблюдайте все требования к выполнению задания.

6. Отвечая на вопросы к тексту, давайте на общий вопрос краткий ответ, а на специальный - развернутый.

7. Выполненные контрольные задания направляйте в университет в установленные сроки. Во избежание повторения ошибок выполняйте и высылайте на рецензию лишь одну контрольную работу.

8. По получении проверенной работы внимательно прочитайте замечания рецензента и проанализируйте свои ошибки. Как правило, рецензент лишь подчеркивает, но не исправляет их.

9. Выполненные и проанализированные контрольные работы сохраняйте и непременно приносите с собой на зачет для собеседования.

NEWYORK

1. New York is the largest city in the United States. It isin south-eastern Hew York State at the mouth of the Hudson River.The bay was first seen by an Italian navigator in 1525, and a century later it was explored by Captain Henry Hudson, who discoveredthe river and Manhattan Island. In Indian Manhattan means "presentday". In 1626 two shiploads of Dutch colonists arrived and they setup their first settlement. Beginning with a little Dutch settlementthe city has grown to the largest city in the USA. Manhattan Island, the heart of the city, is the part most interesting to visitors.

2. The Statue of Liberty meets those who come to Hew York by sea. It is in the bay. The Statue is made of bronze and has a torch of freedom in one hand and the book of American Declaration in the other. In 1886 the Statue was brought to the USA as a present from France. It is about 46 meters high and stands on a platform.

New York is the financial centre of the country, the headquarters of the clothing industry and the publishing business. It hasmanyschools and libraries and some of the finest art galleries and museums in the world.

3.New York is a city of sky-scrapers. Many of the tallestbuildings in the world are in New York. Among them are the 39-storey building of the United Nations Organization, Empire StateBuilding (102 floors), Wall Street Tower (66), Bank of Manhattan(71).

Broadway is a wide avenue 29 kilometers long. It is the centre of the US theatrical world. Another famous street is Wall Street, it is the centre of political and economic life of the country.

4.New York is hot just one city; it is many cities crowdedtogether in one place. There are business cities which die eachday at five o'clock, neon pleasure cities where bars and cinemasshelter noisy crowds, middle-class cities with elegant street lighting and neatly painted doors, and sad cities where no trees grow. New York is all of these and more. Part ofNew York is Harlem. In its past Harlem was an isolated poor village. Negroes inhabited Harlem, it became the largest colony of colored people who live sometimes under unbelievable conditions.
