Упражнение 2. Спишите предложения, подчеркните сказуемое. Укажите функцию глагола “to be”. Переведите предложения.

Модель 1: How long are you to stay there?

Как долго Вы должны там оставаться?

глагол “to be” – эквивалент модального глагола

Модель 2: The Novovoronezhskaya atomic power station is one of the biggest power station in our country.

Нововоронежская атомная электростанция – одна из крупнейших в нашей стране.

Модель 3: You friend is waiting for you in the laboratory.

Ваш друг ожидает вас в лаборатории.

Упражнение 3. Спишите предложения, подчеркните сказуемое. Укажите функцию глагола “to have”. Предложения переведите.

Ученые должны были провести много исследований, чтобы усовершенствовать радарное оборудование.
