Упр. 1. Переведите предложения на русский язык, обращая внимание на перевод конструкций, представленных в рамках

1. The more information the investigator gets from the victims and witnesses the quicker the perpetrator will be identified. 2. The quicker the patrol car arrives at the scene of a crime the sooner the investigation will start. 3. The sooner the crime is reported to the police the more possibility to find the criminal hot on the heels. 4. The more evidence is found at the crime scene the easier it will be to detect the crime. 5. The more you study, the more you know. The more you know, the more you forget. The more you forget, the less you know. Then why to study?

1. Aninvestigator said to the witness: «Describe the criminal as carefully as possible». 2. The report must be as short as possible. 3.
