Задание 1. Порядок выполнения задания. Составьте план сообщения по данной теме, используя фразы и выражения, приведенные ниже.

Задание 2. Порядок выполнения задания. Выразите свое согласие или несогласие со следующими утверждениями.

  • Schools should teach national cultural values;
  • International and global values are of prime importance;
  • Schools should educate people rather than give knowledge;
  • Only the most intelligent and richest people should have the opportunity to get education.

- Of course not. - Certainly not. - I don`t agree with you. - Nothing of the king. - Not at all. - Not in the least. - I don`t think so. - You`re mistaken. - I`m afraid, you are wrong. - That`s where you`re wrong, I`m afraid. - That won`t do. - That can`t be true.

Задание 3. Порядок выполнения задания. Обсудите в паре, какие цели в образовании вы считаете наиболее важными для вас.

Discuss which of the aims of education are most important for you;

  • To develop understanding of other peoples/cultures;
  • To learn social skills;
  • To prepare for life in the workplace;
  • To become aware of how the past has affected the present;
  • To develop critical thinking.

Задание 4. Порядок выполнения задания. В списке, приведенном ниже, даны проблемы, с которыми вы возможно сталкивались. Расскажите о тех чувствах, которые вы испытали. Используйте фразы и выражения из таблицы.
