Подготовительный этап

1) Предварительная беседа.

Цель: сообщить тему и форму мероприятия (конкурс April Fool’s Day), объяснить студентам, зачем оно проводится, на что обратить внимание во время подготовки, общие условия и правила проведения (количество заданий, временные ограничения, дата проведения, участники мероприятия).

2) Самостоятельное ознакомление студентов с информацией о том, как Первое апреля проходит в разных странах мира.

3) Выбор 5 человек из каждой группы для непосредственного участия в конкурсе, подготовка плакатов с названием, девизом и эмблемой команды.

Этап проведения мероприятия:

The host takes the floor - Introduction

-Good evening, our dear friends! We welcome you at this cheerful holiday of funny jokes, pranks and infectious laugh. Our gathering is dedicated to the most inoffensive and amusing holiday which is celebrated all over the world – April Fool’s Day!

-Today we are going to laugh, to compete and to win with the wittiest and the smartest people of our university. Thus, we have 3 teams who have already taken their seats and are ready to start our competition in which they are to show us their quick wit, intellect and humour.

The teams introduce themselves, mentioning the name of the team and the reasons for such a choice.

The Jury is presented.

Merry-go-round

-Let’s play the game! The 1st round is called “Merry-go-round”. One by one each team will be asked a question on different spheres of our life: “Movies”, “Singers”, “University Life”. For each right answer the team will get a smiley. Good Luck!
