1. Сьогодні цивільні інженери мають більше функцій, ніж будь-коли, вони будують хмарочоси, підвісні мости, системи водопостачання та інше.

2. Студенти вивчають закони фізики, що заставляють крутитись американські гірки, дізнаються про властивості матеріалів, що можуть протистояти різним умовам.

3. Уявіть абсолютну темряву, і коли поруч не має пристроїв, до яких ми так звикли. Мабуть, це той випадок, коли ми найбільше цінуємо електрику.

4. Багато галузей промисловості сьогодні, від виробництва до телекомунікації, залежать від електричного обладнання, так само, як і від людей, які слідкують за безпечною та продуктивною роботою цих приладів.
