Give your reasons

As for me, I’m absolutely convinced, that money doesn’t make the world go round but still we can’t diminish it importance. I’d even say the importance of its presence in the family. Financial issues matter much in family relations. Both husband and wife should work, earn money and thus manage the whole family. They should pay for their apartment, leisure, clothes. If they don’t – the marriage fells on the shoulders of their parents.

Financial difficult in a family life always cause a great number of problems. It is not easy to weather the storms of the relationships emerged on that basis. The absence of money leads to many conflicts and enlargers the existence of the married couple itself.

In spite of this fact, I firmly believe, that young couples shouldn’t rely on the financial support of their parents. If two people have got married – this means that they have come of age, and that they both are mature and old enough. Old not only far marriage, but for managing the family budget, old to take the responsibility, mainly for the spouse and to avoid shifting this responsibility on the shoulders of their parents.

Money allows young couples to be independent from everybody. The funds make them live with their parents. Very often young wives are crazy as they can’t get along well with their mothers-in-law.

Parents think, they are superior, that they are bosses for the dwelling, who belongs to them or because they support the young family financially and thus prevent the marriage from breaking. They constantly backbite and criticize the newly-wed behind their backs trying to avoid all possible faults. They always poke their noses where it is not wanted and deprive the young couples to privacy. In order to avoid such situations, young couples should work and manage their family without the parents help.

39. Your friend is very fond of travelling by air. He praises its merits. You prefer
to travel on foot. Try to support your point of view:

travelling by air still remains to be dangerous;

though travelling by air is the fastest, it estranges you from direct contacts with nature;

  • travelling on foot is accessible to everyone;
  • travelling on foot is healthy and cognitive.

Modern life is impossible without traveling. Thousands of people travel every

day either on business or for pleasure. They can travel by train, by car. by air, by sea. Of cause, traveling by air is the fastest, but it is the most expensive too. Traveling by train is slower than by plane, but it has its advantages. You can see much more interesting places of the country youare traveling through. Modern trains have very comfoftabie seats. There are also sleeping cars and dining cars. Speed, comfort and safety are the main advantages of trains and planes. That is why many people prefer them to all other means.

Should it happen to me to talk to my friend about different means of traveling, I'd start with making clear my sight of the picture. I am convinced that the best way of traveling is on foot. Fist of all it's accessible to everyone and besides it is healthy and cognitive. But the problem is that nowadays we have completely forgotten how to use our legs. When the time comes for anthropologists to turn their attention to the 20m century, they will surely choose the title the "Legless man". Men and women move about in cars, buses and trains from a very early age. The future history books might also record that we were deprived of the use of our eyes. In our hurry from one place to another we fail to see anything on our way. Air travel gives you a bird's eye views of the world - or even less, if the wing of the aircraft happens to get in your way. Though it's the fastest means of traveling, it estranges you from direct contacts with nature. Besides traveling by air still remains to be dangerous. When you travel by car or train a blurred image of the countryside constantly smears the window. If my friend were contrary to me, I'd say that when you travel at high speeds the preset means nothing to you: you live mainly in future because you spent most of you time looking forward to arriving at some other place. But actual arrival, when it is achieved is meaningless. You want to move again. By traveling like this you suspend all experience; the present ceases to be a reality; you might just as well be dead. The traveler on foot, on the other hand, lives constantly in the present. For him traveling and arriving are one and the same thing: he arrives somewhere with every step he makes. He experiences the present moment with his eyes his ears and the whole of his body. At the end of the journey he feels a delicious physical weariness. He knows that sound satisfying sleep will be his: the just reward of true travelers.
