                             My Working Day

Usually my working day begins at 7 a.m. when the alarm-clock wakes me up. I do my morning exercises, take a shower and have breakfast. I am not an early riser that is why I can’t do many things in the morning. I only drink a cup of coffee and eat a little sandwich. After light breakfast I go to the Institute.

My Institute is not far away and I go there on foot if I am not short of time. It takes me 20 minutes to get to the Institute on foot. But when I am in a hurry I go by bus, though it is rather tiresome in rush hours.

I am a student of the Department of Sociology. My future occupation is a sociologist. Our teachers always say the speciality of a sociologist is rather new and interesting because we can relieve the burden of people, can help them to solve their problems. I understand the difficulties of this profession. But with the help of our teachers we realize that our future speciality is really necessary.

Our lessons begin at 8 o’clock in the morning and finish at about 3 p.m. After the lessons I feel hungry and go to the cafeteria to have a bite. Then I go to the library to get the necessary books and do my homework.

Then I go home. Being tired, I have a little rest, lying on the sofa or listening to music. In the evening I go on working. Late at night, at about 11 p.m., I go to bed.

I am a member of our amateur theatre and the students’ sociological club. That’s why twice a week I stay at the Institute longer.

I take part in the sittings of our club. We make reports on social problems of our society; discuss vital questions of the social development of our country.
