Many forms of entertainment and other activities are available to senior citizens in the U.S.: bowling, dancing, billiards, swimming.

Senior citizens often spend weekends or holidays (Thanksgiving, Easter, Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.) with their children and relatives, who come from other states.

One can see groups of American retirees in colorful clothes and with the U.S. flag on their hats in different parts of the world: at the Champs Elysees in Paris, under the Big Ben in London, on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia or in Tokyo.

American tourists can always be distinguished from European tourists, because they are always noisy and like to take a lot of photographs.
