How to Set Communication Goals
“Communication goal” is the goal of the speech, that determines to a great extent its character, structure, style and effectiveness.
· The speaker should single out a primary objective and secondary objectives. For example:
· The speaker should remember that a well-formulated statement of objectives will give a clue to the type of presentation which will be the best for implementing the objectives. · At the final stage of the goal-setting process the speaker should ask himself if it is possible to achieve the goal. Then he has to identify the required result taking into account the objectives of the audience. |

Compose a written report. Read the text aloud using the correct pronunciation. Prepare an outline that will help you present that person to the class.
