УРОК 8

Разделительный вопрос

Существует 6 видов разделительных вопросов (tug questions – «хвостовые» вопросы).

Вид 1 На первом месте утвердительное предложение, далее запятая, далее 1-й глагол, далее «not» в сокращенном виде, далее подлежащее, выраженное местоимением.     Sergey speaks well, doesnt he?

Вид 2 После запятой идет 1-й глагол, потом подлежащее-местоимение, потом «not».

Sergey speaks well, does he not?

Вид 3. Утвердительное предложение – запятая – 1-й глагол – подлежащее-местоимение.

Sergey speaks well, does he? (считается грамматически неверным)

Вид 4. Отрицательное предложение – запятая – 1-й глагол – подлежащее-местоимение.

Sergey does not speak well, does he?

Вид 5. Отрицательное предложение – запятая – 1-й глагол + сокращенная форма «not» – подлежащее-местоимение.

Sergey does not speak well, doesnt he? (считается грамматически неправильным)

Вид 6 Отрицательное предложение – запятая – 1-й глагол – подлежащее-место­имение – «not». Sergey doesnt speak well, does he not? (считается грамматически неправильным)

Виды 1-й и 4-й – нейтральные (обычные). Вид 2-й – эмоциональный. 3-й, 5-й и 6й считаются неправильными, но они могут встречаться в разговорной речи. Мы будем практиковать 1й и 4й виды.

УРОК 9

АЛЬТЕРНАТИВНЫЙ ВОПРОС

Альтернативный вопрос отличается от общего только тем, что в нем появляется частица “ or ”, которая ставится перед альтернативной частью вопроса. В ответе если отвечающий выбирает оба варианта используется «either or», а если обучаемый отрицает оба варианта, то используется «neither nor».

ВОПРОСИТЕЛЬНОЕ ПРЕДЛОЖЕНИЕ (ОБОБЩЕНИЕ)

 

Итак, в английском языке существует 5 основных типов вопросительных предложений.

1-й тип – общий вопрос. Он имеет два вида:

1) общий положительный вопрос Does he speak English? /;

2) общий отрицательный вопрос а) Doesnt he speak English? – нейтральный,

б) Does he not speak English – эмоциональный.

Классические варианты ответа на этот тип вопроса:

либо краткий и полный положительный Yes, he does. He speaks English.

либо краткий и полный отрицательный No, he doesnt (does not). He doesnt (does not) speak English.

Чаще употребляются только краткий отрицательный и краткий положительный ответы.

Вообще, отрицание может быть выражено не только при помощи отрицательной частицы not, но и при помощи слов never, nobody, nowhere, none, neither, nor и т. д. И еще в одном предложении может быть только одно отрицание.
