We recommend replacing the brushes after every second season. If their surface becomes smooth, replacement will be required

Fig. 11

The way of replacing the brushes is the following:

• Turn the robot body

• Remove the tabs of the first brush from the grooves of the roller

• Remove the used brush.

• Place a new brush on the shaft (smooth side down)

• Pull on the tabs until they engage in the grooves.

• Cut off the ends of the tabs with scissors.

• Replace the second brush in the same way.

The PVC brush has a wear indicator. As soon as the edge of the brush reaches the “indicator” protrusion, it has to be replaced, but no more than once every 2 years. (Fig. 11)

If the robot is equipped with foam brushes, it is better to replace the brushes annually.

The way of replacing the brushes is the following:

• Turn the robot body

• Spread the brush at the joint to access the plastic clip

• Put your finger under the clip and remove it. Then remove the old brush

• Install a new brush on the shaft

• Connect the edges of the brush with clips

• Replace the second brush in the same way.

BALLAST INSTALATION

Sometimes ballast needs to be installed for more efficient cleaning.

Before installing the ballast, make sure the pool water is regulated and there is no alga on the walls.

If the robot rises above the waterline and draws air, replace the ballast (2 plates) from position 3 to position 2 and add additional ballast (2 plates) to position 4 to keep the balance. If the robot does not reach the waterline, remove the ballast (2 plates) under the engine block.

Ballast installation:

• Turn the robot over carefully

• Remove the filter cover (Fig. 15)

• Remove the protective grill (Fig. 16)

• Adjust the ballast (Fig. 17-5 on the cable exit side)

• Set the protective grill, then the filter cover.

TROUBLESHOOTING

There is no good adhesion of the robot to the surface of the pool bottom

There is still air in the body of the robot. Start again by submerging the robot in water and do everything exactly as described above. Rotate the robot properly while holding it underwater so that the air remaining in the body can escape.
