Времена группы Indefinite Passive Voice

Значение действительного и страдательного залогов в английском языке совпадают со значением соответствующих залогов в русском языке. Глагол в действительном залоге ( Active Voice ) показывает, что действие совершает лицо или предмет, выраженный подлежащим.

He translates a book. – Он переводит книгу.

Глагол в страдательном залоге (Passive Voice) означает, что действие направлено на предмет или лицо, выраженное подлежащим.

The book is translated. – Книгу переводят.

Страдательный залог образуется с помощью вспомогательного глагола

to be в соответствующем времени, лице и числе и причастия II.

to be + Participle II

Глагол в страдательном залоге можно переводить на русский язык тремя способами:

1) глаголом с окончанием –ся, -сь;

2) глаголом быть (в прошедшем или будущем времени) и краткой формой причастия;

3) неопределенно-личной формой глагола.

Present Indefinite Tense: to be (am, is, are) + Participle II

This house is built very quickly. – Этот дом строится очень быстро.

These houses are built of concrete. – Эти дома построены из бетона.

Past Indefinite Tense: to be (was, were) + Participle II

The radio in Russia was invented by Popov. – Радио в России было изобретено Поповым.

Many houses were built last year. – Много домов было построено в прошлом году.

Future Indefinite Tense: to be (shall be, will be) + Participle II

Many houses will be built soon. – Много домов будет построено скоро.

Упражнение 1. Поставьте глаголы, данные в скобках в соответствующем времени.

1. This group (to go) to the theatre next month.

2. We (to get) books from the library last week.

3. He (to read) the book about Robinson Crusoe in his childhood.

4. Schoolchildren (to have) the longest holidays in summer.

5. I (to speak) with my teacher tomorrow after classes.

6. The teacher (to ask) the new grammar rule at the next lesson.
