Задание 1. Порядок выполнения задания. Разыграйте в парах телефонный разговор, используя модель диалога (A). Составьте свои собственные диалоги о необычных фестивалях в нашей стране и в других странах (B).

Model (A): Act out a telephone conversation.

S1 – Hi, what are you doing?

S2 – I’m at the Cooper’s Hill Cheese Rolling Competition.

S1 – Where is that held?

S2 – In Gloucester in the UK.

S1- And what sort of competition is it? …

Model (B): Работая в парах, составьте диалог о необычном фестивале, следуя плану и модели внизу.

Plan:

Name: La Tomatina

Place: Bunol, Spain

Date: Last Wednesday of August

Activities: people dress up and gather in the streets and throw tomatoes at each other.

Dialogue

S1- La Tomatina is a bizarre annual event in my country.

S2 – Where does it take place?

S1 – In Bunol, in eastern Spain.

S2 – When is it held?

S1 - On the last Wednesday in August.

S2 – What do people do?

S1 – They gather in the streets and throw tomatoes at each other.

S2 – Sounds like fun!
