Article 10. Powers of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1) pass laws on matters of national security, make changes and additions to them;
2) decide questions of war and peace;
3) accepts the proposal of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan decided to use the Armed Forces of the Republic to fulfill international commitments to support peace and security;
4) holds parliamentary hearings on issues of national security;
5) exercise other powers on matters of national security, mandated by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
