Meeting a customer

A: Good morning! My name is Mr. Edwards. I’m a representative of “Stone & Sons”. I’ve got an appointment with Mr. Forester.

B: Good morning, Mr. Edwards. Mr. Forester is expecting you. Take a seat, please. He will be in a minute.

C: Good morning, Mr. Edwards. Glad to see you! How are you?

A: Good morning, Mr. Forester. I’m fine, thank you. And you?

C: Very well, thank you. Would you like tea or coffee?

A: Tea please and no sugar. It is very cold today.

C: Brenda, will you bring us a cup of tea without sugar for Mr. Edwards and a cup of coffee for me, please. We will be in a conference room. This way, please Mr. Edwards.

(a few minutes later in a conference room)

A: Oh, thank you, Brenda.

C: Thank you, Brenda. How was your flight, Mr. Edwards?

A: Not bad. The take off was delayed for half an hour, but the arrival was on time.

C: Now, Mr. Edwards, how about our catalogues? Have you looked them through?

A: Yes, I have studied them closely. Your new model is certainly good.

C: Yes, it’s of high quality. We have started producing it not long ago but we are heavy with orders.

A: Your goods meet our requirements and my company is interested in buying them.

C: Then Mr. Edwards, please, look through our contract form to study the terms. We can meet on Thursday and discuss the contract.

A: That would be great. Thank you, Mr. Forester.

C: And now, Mr. Edwards, would you like to have dinner together?

A: With pleasure.

C: Let’s go then, a table in “La Strata” is waiting for us.
