Bruce Lee's own waist belt, worn during workouts. Lee experimented with the fitness trend that postulated wearing a belt such as this during cardio exercise boosted fat loss. Thick black elastic belt is stitched in red along a single vertical seam. Measures 9.5'' tall and 13.5'' when laid flat. Light dust and must, else near fine. Impressed with Jackson's background in street fighting, in time Lee befriended his student and invited him to train at his home. Bruce Lee Signed Article From the 1966-67 ''Green Hornet'' Era -- With Handwritten Notations & Corrections Possibly Made by Lee Himself

Bruce Lee signed and hand-notated interview article. The great martial artist and movie star signs the last page on verso, ''Bruce'' in blue ink. Typed interview with Lee runs six pages and is concurrent with his role on ''The Green Hornet'' TV series, which aired from 1966-67. Article contains a good deal of biographical information on Lee, including his background in education and martial arts training, along with anecdotal reports such as, ''...he can grab a dime right out of your palm...and left a penny clutched in our hand in exchange for the dime, a switch he executed so swiftly it almost seemed magical...'' Article for a magazine interview features hand notes, possibly by Lee correcting simple spelling errors and the like. In addition, pencil sketches to verso illustrate martial arts training equipment including a shin guard and striking shield. Sheets are stapled at upper left corner and measure 9'' x 12''. Bruce Lee Letter Signed in The Last Year of His Life Referring to ''Return of the Dragon'' -- ''...the premier night of my motion picture in Hong Kong is rescheduled for December 23...''

Bruce Lee letter signed. Lee's letter was sent from Hong Kong just before the premier of ''Return of the Dragon'' aka ''Way of the Dragon'' in that city. It is addressed to his close friend and Jeet Kune Do protege Herb Jackson in Los Angeles. Postmarked 22 November 1972, the letter reads in full, ''Dear Herb, There has been a slight change of plan which is the premier night of my motion picture in Hong Kong is rescheduled for December 23. There will be just this slight postponement. I have already written James Lee. I hope you are in the process of getting all the necessary documents for traveling and as soon as I get an okay from James' physical examination, I will write to you to make all the necessary arrangements. Lee was an outspoken advocate of skipping rope for cardiovascular fitness, touting its benefits in his book, published posthumously, ''Bruce Lee's Fighting Method'', Black Belt Communications: 1977. Woven rope operates on a ball bearing rotation as Lee recommends in the book. With contoured wooden handles and ''Made in U.S.A.'' appearing on the metal caps at the handle ends. Measures 96'' from end to end not including handles, which themselves measure 6.25'' in length. Soiling to rope, else near fine. From among the training equipment Lee gifted to Herb Jackson upon his move to Hong Kong. Jackson is well-documented as a builder of Lee's custom martial arts training equipment, a task he undertook as Lee's first generation Jeet Kune Do student and friend. With a COA from Jackson's son.
