Community structure, biotopic distribution and activity of herpetobiont beetles (Insecta, Coleoptera) of the Donguz Steppe (Orenburg Area)
The taxonomic structure of communities, biotopic distribution, and comparative data for average activity dynamics and relative abundance of herpetobiont beetles (Insecta, Coleoptera) in the Donguz Steppe of the Orenburg Area are studied. The peculiarities of population composition and activity dynamics of beetles in steppe biocenoses are discussed, and their relative abundance is estimated.
