Translate the following sentences into Ukrainian without dictionary, paying special attention to the italicized words and phrases.

1. When I want to post a letter, I must put it in an envelope properly addressed, affix a stamp and drop it into a letter-box.

2. Separate rates are charged for books and parcels, and extra charges are made for package s which are overweigh t or which bear insufficient stamps.

3. In towns it is usual for letters to be collected and delivered several times a day.

4. To write a letter we need a note-paper, an envelope, a pen and a stamp.

5. Those who prefer to pick up their mail in person, get letters, telegrams, parcels and remittances at the window “Poste Restante: (to be called for).

6. One can send ordinary, urgent and express telegrams with reply pre-paid.
