Why then do people watch them? Presumably, what holds the audience's attention is the 'reality' or spontaneity of the shows. You never know what is going to happen next, and we are fascinated by people who will stop at nothing in their pursuit of fame. Naturally we're also fascinated by how the contestants cope in different situations, and to some extent measure their reactions against our own.
To conclude, it's probably true to say that reality shows are third-rate entertainment when compared with classic films or award-winning documentaries. However, as audience figures prove, they are strangely compelling because basically, we are able to empathize with denary people in extraordinary situations. This is what makes TV reality shows worth watching.

The new series of spectograms of Aristarchus was obtained with the help of the reflector telescope of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory. The spectrum of the central part of the crater was found to contain several light lines caused by the luminescence of gases escaping from crater. Measurement of the length of the waves of the lines and their comparison with laboratory spectra led the scientist to the conclusion that molecular hydrogen was the source of luminescence. Only this gas produces the bright line in the wavelength of 4634 angstrom. Such is the wavelength of the brightest line found in the spectrum of Aristarchus. Weaker lines of molecular hydrogen were also found in other parts of the spectrum.

Родина, любовь к ней, чувство патриотизма... Эти понятия наполняются для меня смыслом не в связи с безбрежностью наших степей, красотой гор, синевой рек и морей, не в связи с идиллическими красотами родной природы. Смыслом понятие «Казахстан— моя родина» наполняется, когда я читаю, слышу, думаю о ее людях, творивших долгие века и творящих сейчас ее историю.
Это политики, государственные и общественные деятели, писатели и поэты, актеры и музыканты, великие ученые и спортсмены, но главное — это труженики полей, заводов, шахт. Народ Казахстана, пережив немало тяжелейших периодов в своей истории, не утратил, мне кажется, главного — веры в свои силы. Великая мудрость народа воплотилась в его самоиронии, в умении беззлобно посмеяться над собой, друзьями.
