III. Let’s talk about national character and stereotypes.

Some stereotypes about cultures or nationalities may be positive, even amusing when presented as jokes and anecdotes. I want to say that the 21^st century is marked by a huge free flow of information exchange on the Internet. It has brought enlightenment, but also wide distribution of false information.

Belarusians are very hard working but at the same time homely people. That`s why life of a Belarusian is basically centered around work and family. Weekends are a wonderful illustration of this. After a working  week the whole family pack food and go out of town to traditional cottages call «dachas». There they usually work in the gardens and have barbecues, swim in the lake and pick mushrooms and berries in the forest.

If you want to get a healthy outlook on world, you should travel more. Crush stereotypes, celebrate individuality, and you will learn, grow and be a happier person.

1. This text is about a wonderful Spanish restaurant with a lively atmosphere - Mi Luna. We can find the description of an interior. We can also read about the menu and about nice and pleasant service.

3. First it is painted with the classical colours that are used in Spain — red, yellow, white, and black. On the walls, there are photos of Spanish bullfighters, taken at the perfect moments of their performances. You can also enjoy a photo of the famous classical Spanish dance called Flamenco.

4. People are sure to be entirely satisfied and have very good memories of the visit to Mi Luna. It is a great place for any occasion, but it is very busy, so visitors should make reservations in Mi Luna in advance.

I. Let’s talk about youth and society.

Youth is the part of society who saves and follows the traditions of preceding generations. They possess such powerful force that is able to invert this world heels overhead. Sure, this force must be directed at peaceful aims and be embodiment only of true values. However, modern youth do not keep their culture in such way. Thus, the new age is the new young people. In my opinion, there are some basis factors influencing on it. One of them is our society. It influences the formation of the teenagers’ true values more than their families do. A child grows in a family where he gets education and there is his primary socialization. But he or she has to make contacts with other people and their influence is not far always positive. Besides, there are different youth subcultures. Not all their values are true values. Many of them have the aim to oppose public foundations. Thus they damage teenagers’ minds and can incite them against the whole world. Another factor influencing young people is mass media. There are a lot of violent programmes and articles on TV and in printed press. Negative characters become the ideal heroes for children who try to imitate their behavior in real life. Teenagers become more nervous and aggressive, their psyche is seriously damaged and very often some of them commit crimes. So I consider that crime is one of the main problems of modern youth. Alcohol and drugs are also among the most actual problems nowadays. Children get their first experience in alcohol or drug use while studying at school. They do not understand how dangerous it is, how harmful it is for their health. Children see beautiful life with cigarettes and drugs in films and try to behave like their heroes. They become addicted to these things and degraded later. However, I think not all the youth are such bad people without any moral standards and behavior who doesn’t think about their future. The most of them have true values, they are ready to study and work hard to enjoy the life. But young people cannot do it without the help of the adults.

1. This text is about the world’s largest educational and travel organisation for older adults - Elderhostel. We can learn about the programmes and activities it provides to elderly people. We can also find information about how it helps people to keep a positive selfimage and contributes to the sense of wellbeing both mental and physical.

3. Elderhostel offers a large number of programmes in a huge variety of areas. People study ancient history, literature, and art. It also offers a lot of sport activities. There is also a group of adventure programmes involving activities like hiking, kayaking, biking and studying whales. There are also programmes which give people the chance to help communities in different ways, such as protecting endangered species, tutoring school children and building affordable housing.

4. The word ‘old’ have a positive meaning in Elderhostel because it means "experienced". And you could never be too old to do things that give you pleasure and joy of life.
