В тексте Lawyers at Work и упражнениях вам встретятся слова, имеющие одинаковую форму, но относящиеся к разным частям речи. Эти слова образованы путем конверсии. При конверсии от одного слова без изменения его формы образуется новое слово, относящееся к другой части речи, например: work (n) – работа и work (v) – работать; right (n) – право и right (a) – правый, правильный. Принадлежность таких слов к той или иной части речи определя­ется на основании их формальных и синтаксических признаков.
