Olaf Olafsson works for Sonny in the USA. He is President of Sonny’s video game division, but he is only 30 year old. He also has a very interesting hobby. Miguel Martinez, a Spanish journalist, is interviewing Mr Olafsson.
The interview
Miguel Martinez: Just a few guestions Mr Olofson. It won’t take long.
Mr. Olafsson: That’s fine.
Miguel Martinez: Who do you work for exactly? I understand it’s division of Sony.
Mr. Olafsson: The full name is Sony Electronic Publishing.
Miguel Martinez: Sony... Electronic... Publishing... And you are the President of the
company. Excuse me, but you are very young.
Mr. Olafsson: Yes... well.., it’s a very young company.
Miguel Martinez: And where do you live and work?
Mr. Olafsson: In the United States.
Miguel Martinez: But you are from Island?
Mr. Olafsson: Yes, that’s right.
Miguel Martinez: And what does your company do? Do you make hi - fis? TVs?
Mr. Olafsson: No, we make video games and software.
Miguel Martinez: Video games? Do you play them at home?
Mr. Olafsson: No, I don’t take my work at home. When I am at home, I write.That takes a
lot of my time.
Miguel Martinez: That’s interesting. What sort of things do you write?
Mr. Olafsson: Novels and short stories, mainly.
Miguel Martinez: Is this one of your books?
Mr. Olafsson: Yes it is.
Miguel Martinez: Absolution. Oh, your name is Olafsson. Let me change the in my

don’t understand. You run a big division of an international company
and you write novels? How do you find the time?
Mr. Olafsson: Well, I travel a lot, so I have free time to work in the evening, in hotel
room. And at weekends, of course.
