Tertiary Content

Internal & External Tertiary content: External content not housed in IRIS 2.0 that links back to primary content. The creative content for these efforts is housed externally and links back to a full promotion in IRIS. This content is entered at the “effort” level. Note – the process for requesting Internal and External tertiary content is identical, but the full promotion/primary content MUST be entered before creating tertiary content.

Examples of Tertiary Content:

· Ed Mentions

· Interviews

· PS links

· Podcasts

· Print Inserts

· Print Space Ads

· Radio Ads

· Television Ads

· Website Links

Tertiary Content is entered as an “Effort” in IRIS. See the next chapter (Chapter 5) for a step-by-step breakdown of how to enter and coordinate efforts.

CHAPTER 5: EFFORTS

Creating Efforts

Efforts are individual marketing arrangments. The home company schedules an advertising spot to one of the following sources: in-house channels, Agora affiliates or Non-Agora partners. Once created, these efforts will be placed on the appropriate schedule screen and will be available for all users to see.

After an effort is created, they must be given an Advantage promo code. This is done from the MY QUEUE/QUEUE section of IRIS. The effort will be assigned a unique promotional code used for tracking revenue statistics and reporting data.

Here are some examples of common effort types created in IRIS:

· Dedicated Emails

· Space Ads

· Banner Ads

· Text Ads

· Ed Mentions

· PS links

· Podcast URLs

And many more!
