If your parents ask for your opinion where to move: to the city or to the country; what would you recommend them to do?

Where to live and what to choose is up to a person, his tastes and preferences. Both a city and a village have advantages and disadvantages. Life in the city is much easier than in the country - developed transport system, information, sports, shopping malls, etc. In the city people have more chances to be employed, as the range of jobs is greater than in a village. Living in the countryside is cheaper and safer than in a city. It provides people with more security. There is less crime and, of course, there is less traffic there. Life in the countryside is quiet, peaceful, and healthy. Unfortunately, life in the countryside is rather hard. Working and living conditions are difficult, social and cultural life in the countryside is not full of entertainment.

They say that the room/flat/house you live in reflects your character and personality. What do you think about this idea?

Some people think that one’s home is as much a reflection of his personality, as the clothes he wears, the food he eats, the friends he spends his time with. I agree that many homes reflect the ways of life and habits of their owners. In my view to live comfortably doesn’t mean to live in luxury in a detached house with all modern conveniences, which is well furnished and nicely decorated. Certainly it won’t do any harm to have all these things, which make our life easier, more enjoyable and pleasant. Good housing conditions are very important for creating a good quality of life. But I’m convinced that all these things are not so important as the relaxing friendly atmosphere at home.
