На контейнере также наносится: на дверях — максимальная масса брутто (MGW) и собственная масса (TARE) в килограммах (kg) и фунтах (1b). При этом, например, для контейнеров типоразмера ICC может указываться максимальная масса брутто, равная 24 384 кг, а не 24 000 кг. Это происходит из-за более точного перерасчета фунтов в килограммы и не содержит противоречия или указаний на допусти­мый перегруз.

На боковых стенках контейнера указывается срок (месяц и год) очередного капитального ремонта.
