At a department store

Last Saturday Richard Johnson went shopping on Madison Avenue as he was to leave N ew York soon. He drew up his shopping list and set out on his shopping tour. First he visited the men’s department of a big department store. He came up to a salesclerk and asked her to help him choose a suit. He explained to her that he would prefer a double-breasted suit for winter wear. As to the color it might be of any color but not too loud. The salesclerk offered Richard a wide choice of suits. He chose a double-breasted brown suit. It was rather expensive because it was made of pure wool. But the price didn't make any difference to Richard. He tried on the suit in a fitting-room. It was a perfect fit. So he bought the suit and left the department.
