My Institute is a young one. It was opened only four years ago, in 1997, but very soon became one of the leading non-state higher education institutions of its kind in the Volgo-Vyatsky region.
My Institute has a fine location. It is situated in the industrial and commercial part of the city on the left bark of the Oka River. The Institute trains specialists for medium size and small businesses, state and private companies and enterprises in a number of specialties including economics, banking, taxation, accounting, law, management, psychology, social and management psychology and others.
There are three faculties at the Institute – the Faculty of Economics and Management, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Psychology. Students study by correspondence at each of the faculties. The Institute is proud of its academic staff. There are 12 doctors and professors about 150 candidates of science and associate professors at the Institute. The academic staff of the Institute make a great contribution to the science development in our city. They take an active part in the domestic and international scientific conferences.
The Institute has become popular in the Volgo-Vyatsky region. Today it numbers more than 1500 students. Almost half of them are studying to obtain a second higher education.
The students have all necessary facilities for their studies. The library provides them with textbooks, and literature on special subjects. There is a computer class with a wide range of teaching software. The students enjoy their studies at the Institute.
