In English.
What's the standard form in writing letters with English people?
It is much the same as ours but English people write the sender's address (return address) in the top right-hand corner of the letter.
First comes the number of the house and the name of the street. The name of the town (village) comes on the second line.
The English write the date in full (day, month, year) under their address..
An example:
124, Green Street,
London, S. W., 8
April 27th, 1985.
Some forms of greetings!
a) in private letters:
Dear Jane; My dear Mother; My dear friend; My dear Miss (Mrs.) Brown;
b) in business correspondence:
Sir (Dear Sir); Gentlemen (Dear Sirs); Dear Madam.
The greeting of the letter is followed by the comma.
Some forms of closing of letters:
a) in private letters:
Your loving son; Ever yours (Yours, as ever); With my kindest regards; Yours affectionately; I remain...
With my best wishes to you and looking forward to your answer,
Yours affectionately, Steve.
b) in business letters:
Yours sincerely (Yours truly),
John Smith.
Yours respectfully (Yours faithfully),

In what order do people write the address for a letter to Great Britain, America, Australia?
In the centre of the front side of an envelope we write:
the name of the addressee;
the number of the house, the name of the street and the number of the apartment (flat);
the name of the town (village);
the name of the country (it is unnecessary if the town is well-known).

Where do people write their return address?
English people write it on the back side of the envelope.
