Chapter 3. Event Log

Select the Events field of the event log page to view entries that are currently stored in the Program event log.

This log includes entries for events that are detected by the Program and installed components. The log displays the most recent entries first. Information about all unauthorized access attempts is recorded in the event log, and the Program sends out the applicable alerts if it is configured to do so.

The event log is of fixed capacity. When the log is 75% full, the Program Information signal is lit. When the log is full, new entries overwrite the oldest entries, and the Program Error signal is lit. If you do not want the Program to monitor the state of the event log, clear the Monitor log state events check box at the top of the event log page.

Rear derailleur adjustment

10, 12, 15, 18, 21 or 24 speed models only

Tools and parts required:

· 6'' adjustable wrench

· Medium size standard screwdriver

· Pliers

NOTE: Always move just one shift lever at a time to avoid damaging the derailleur. Please observe the following precautions:

1. Reduce pedaling pressure while shifting.

2. Shift only when pedals and wheels are in motions.

3. Never back-pedal while shifting gears. Never force shift levels.

For your convenience, the 10, 12, 15, 18, 21 or 24 speed derailleur has been preadjusted at the factory, but due to jarring in shipment, it may need minor adjustment.

1. Rear wheel must be supported off the ground using a bicycle stand, or place bicycle upside down resting it on the seat and handlebar. Cushion handlebars to prevent damage to stem shifters and caliper brake levers.

2. Place shift lever for rear derailleur all the way forward. The chain should now on the smallest sprocket (high gear). Refer to rear derailleur illustration for locating adjustment points on your typo of derailleur.

3. Check for slack in cable at point “A” and tightness of the nut on the cable anchor bolt.

NOTE: The wire in the cable has a tendency to stretch after the bicycle has been ridden for a while. If there is too much slack, the chain will not transfer to all speeds. If the cable wire is not taut, continue with next step.
