Summary

Objectives: To reveal the features of the international freight transportation. To determine and to structure the crucial problems, arising from the freight transport logistic. To consider the rational way of solving the existing problems Methods: The initial acquisition of the statistics profile is done. The structuring and generalization of the material are conducted and information handling is fulfilled. The statistic profile of the drawbacks arising in the international freight transportation is made. Results: Author determines and graphically presents the crucial problems of the international freight transportation, their causes and consequences. Practical importance: The statistical profile identifies the weaknesses of the international freight transportation process. On the basis of the results author suggests to use the distributed ledger technology which is able to solve the crucial problems in the transport and logistics field.
