Инструкция по выполнению работы:

Письменная часть дифференцированного зачета по английскому языку состоит из двух разделов:

Раздел 1 (задание по чтению) включает 2 задания, которые позволят оценить понимание прочитанного текста:

· Тест на установление соответствий между заголовками и текстом.

· Тест на установление соответствия приведенных утверждений прочитанному тексту (True / False / Not stated).

 

Рекомендуемое время на выполнение раздела 1 - 40 минут.

Рекомендации:

 К заданию 1:

- прочитайте сначала заголовки, затем текст;

- вам не нужно понимать каждое слово в тексте, а только основной смысл и более точно те части текста, которые отражены в заголовках;

- в тексте найдите фрагменты, к которым относится каждый из заголовков (это может быть одно слово, выражение, целое предложение или абзац);

- определите абсолютно неверные ответы;

- отметьте верный ответ и проверьте его правильность в тексте;

- теперь подставьте все заголовки и проверьте, сохраняется ли целостность текста и соответствует ли они содержанию абзацев.

 

К заданию 2:

- выполняя задания, всегда сначала читайте вопрос или задание и только потом текст;

- найдите в тексте то место, которое соответствует каждому вопросу;

- очень важно провести различие между фактами и мнениями, приведенными в тексте;

- намерения автора могут быть выражены прямо или нет, поэтому постарайтесь уловить скрытый смысл, если он есть.

Раздел 2 (задание по грамматике и лексике) включает 2 задания, которые позволят проверить уровень лексико-грамматических знаний, умений и навыков по изученным темам.

· Тест на употребление правильных грамматических форм.

· Задание на восстановление в тексте пропущенных слов. Это задание для проверки словарного запаса и правильности употребления слов и устойчивых выражений; грамматики и понимания структуры предложения и / или текста. Это могут быть отдельно взятые предложения или связанный текст.

 

Рекомендуемое время на выполнение раздела 2 - 35 минут.

Рекомендации:

 К заданию 3:

- внимательно прочитайте предложение, определите по обстоятельствам времени или по имеющимся глагольным формам, в каком времени написано предложение;

- подумайте, какую форму глагола имел в виду автор личную, инфинитив, герундий или причастие;

- посмотрите, нужна ли вам форма активного или пассивного залога;

- и только после этого окончательно выберите нужную для этого предложения форму глагола;

- при изменении прилагательного или наречия, посмотрите, есть ли в предложении сравнение или это превосходная степень, подсчитайте количество слогов, подумайте, не является ли это слово исключением, только после этого выберите нужную форму;

- при изменении существительного по соседнему глаголу или другим местоимениям определите, в каком числе (единственном или множественном) употреблено оно в предложении;

- при выборе предлога вспомните значение предлога, только после этого выберите нужное слово.

 

К заданию 4:

- сначала прочитайте весь текст, чтобы понять его основной смысл;

- обратите внимание на слова, которые стоят непосредственно перед и за пропуском, и подумайте:

а) какая часть речи должна быть в пропуске (существительное, глагол, предлог, союз и т.д.);

б) является ли слово, которое нужно вставить, частью устойчивого выражения или фразы;

в) является ли это слово частью фразеологической единицы;

- убедитесь в том, что слово, которое вы вставили, логически и грамматически вписывается в текст;

- проверьте правильность написания вставленных слов.

 

Устная часть дифференцированного зачета по английскому языку состоит из одного раздела - монологическое высказывание по заданной теме.

Рекомендации:

К разделу 3:

- Продумайте, о чем будете говорить, опираясь на план.

- Будьте готовы рассказать монолог на заданную тему в течение 2 минут.

 

Рекомендуемое время на выполнение раздела 3 - 15 минут.

Oxford

The city of Oxford is like London. It is old and it is situated on the river Thames.

Oxford is a beautiful and a very green city. Green fields and parks surround it. Green gardens with a lot of flowers and trees surround the colleges. The river Thames is situated quite near the city.

Oxford has existed since 912. The university was founded in 1249. today it consists of 35 independent colleges and five “halls”. Every year more than one thousand students from different countries enter Oxford University. The entrance exams are difficult. It is necessary to work hard to become a student of Oxford. The students have to pay for their studies.

The academic year in England has three terms which usually last from the beginning of October to the middle of December, from the middle of January to the end of March and from the middle of April to the end of June.

Examinations take place at the end of each term. If a student fails in an exam, he may be allowed to take it again. Only two reexaminations are usually allowed.

The University of Oxford has a tutorial system of education: every student has a tutor who plans his work. Each week some students come to see him, they discuss different questions connected with their studies, they tell their tutor about the work they have done.

The students of Oxford spend their morning hours working. They have lectures and seminars, or they study in the rooms. At two they have a dinner break which lasts till four. After tea they continue their studies.

The life of the students at Oxford is interesting. The university has many societies and clubs, enough for every interest. Almost all the students go in for some kind of sport.
