To whom it may concern
I have been working in education since 1986. That means for about 24 years already. During this period, I managed to work in Russian public schools, in a Russian university, and in my own private language school as an English language teacher and as a German language teacher. I also worked in several California school districts as a substitute teacher, in several adult schools as an ESL teacher, and in Vacaville High School as a Language Arts and ELD teacher. I am a man devoted to education.
Teaching foreign languages in my own private language school, I looked through numbers of different methods of teaching foreign languages. This helped me to invent my own method. I wrote three textbooks and published one of them in Russia. Now I am working on several textbooks which I am going to publish in the USA, China, and Russia. To be a good Language Arts teacher, I began to write detective stories in English and Russian. I also wrote scripts for comedy shows in both languages. I am hardworking and creative.
If you read this cover letter, I have not been hired by your or any other school or district yet. Don’t lose your chance!!! Hiring me, you receive not only an ELD, ESL, and LA teacher, but a German, Russian, and Math teacher, volleyball coach, soccer coach, drama adviser, textbook writer, detective stories writer, and much more including a man with a sense of humor.
If anyhow you select another candidate, don’t feel guilty. I will survive. When I did not have a chance to work in education, I worked as a pizza delivery driver, car seller, telephone interviewer, case worker, clerk, taxi driver, interpreter, translator, and so on.
