Обратите внимание на употребление герундиального оборота, состоящего из притяжательного местоимения или существительного в притяжательном или общем падеже и герундия в различных формах:

 

We have heard of his starting a very important project. Мы слышали о том, что он начинает очень важный проект. We were unaware about his being sent to the power station. Мы не знали о том, что его посылают на электростанцию. His having developed such a device shows that he knows this branch of science very well. То, что он разработал такой прибор, показывает, что он знает эту область науки очень хорошо. We know of the first nuclear power plant having been put into operation in 1954.
