Cleaning and maintenance

Cleaning the filter bag

!!!!!! We recommend you to replace the filter bag at least once a year. It is imperative to replace it if it is visibly worn out.

We recommend you to clean the filter bag at the end of each working cycle. If you do not do this, the bag will dry out together with the litter and it will be much more difficult to be cleaned later or it will be unusable.

Turn off the robot and remove the cable from the socket and from the control unit.

• Remove the robot out of the water. Place it on the floor with the bottom side up to gain access to the filter mounting cover (Fig. 7).

• Open 4 latches that secure the cover. Remove the cover without turning it over so that the litter will not fall out of the filter bag (Fig. 8).

• Release 2 plastic clamping devices to remove the filter bag. (Fig. 9).

• Push back the rubber band on the bottom of the filter and remove the bag from the holder.

• Empty the bag and clean it under running water or, if necessary, in a mild soapy solution (in this case, the bag must be turned inside out and rinsed thoroughly). The filter bag can be washed in the washing machine (see the instructions on the label inside the bag) (Fig. 10).

• Also rinse the filter holder cover and, if necessary, remove dirt particles soiled under the valves.

• Place the filter bag in place so that the rubber band knot is in the middle of the width of the filter bag and the corners of the bag rest on the stainless supports. The Zodiac label is on the bar.

• Reinstall the plastic clamping devices. Replace the filter holder cover and lock the latches.

Cleaning and storing the robot

The robot should be regularly washed with clean water or mild soapy solution, never use solvents such as trichloroethylene. Rinse thoroughly. Do not leave the robot to dry in direct sunlight.

Lubrication of external user-accessible mechanical parts is not required.

The robot should be stored on a dedicated carrier - where it dries quickly and where there is no load on the brushes.
