Then suddenly huge advertisements appeared: ‘X -the only chewing-gum made with real artificial flavor. People's imagination was caught and few would look at any other chewing-gum now.
RELIGION
Religion has recently become extremely popular among people. Its popularity may be explained by realities of our life. In advertising field, I mean. Churches advertise, too (‘Come to us and you will be not only saved but amnestied!’) but this is not the real point... I print here a little article, published in one of the American Newspapers while I was over there. No comment is needed, I believe.

The job: ‘To do good as he is led to do it’. The budget: $100, 00. The inspiration: ‘His instructions will come not from the company but from God’.....
If the sales fall off, will you spend more money on advertising? But beware of one thing: do not improve the quality of your goods.
