I. Rewrite and translate the following text into Russian. Get ready to comment on it.

I. Pilotage is compulsory. Vessels requiring a pilot should show the usual signals. Pilots board ships from the pilot vessel 1 mile off the harbour entrance; the pilot vessel which is equipped with RT, and has a blue hull and orange superstructure with PILOTS on it in black, is only on station when ships are expected. Ships should send their ETA 24 hours in advance with amendments before arrival. Information should be passed via the pilotage radio station when within 30 miles.

2. Dangers. Cannis Rock, which dries, lies in the SW approach to the harbour 1/4-mile SE off Cribbing Head; it is marked on its S side by a light-buoy (S cardinal) and is covered by the red sector of Fowly Light. There is a narrow passage between this rock and the coast.

Whidbey Light-beacon (column, white triangular topmark with an orange stripe) stands about 1 cable S of Andurn Point.

3. A lighthouse, consisting of grey round stone tower, 23 m. high is situated at the W end of the breakwater; a sector light is exhibited from a window in the tower below the main light.

Tidal Streams. Off Lizard Point and Start Point the tidal streams are shown by means of a table on the charts; they are nearly rectilinear outside a line joining the two points.

In the bight between these two points there is a slight indraught, and the streams follow the direction of the coast; they are weak, with a tendency to become rotary in a clockwise direction, but their rates increase off salient points and over rocks and shoals where overalls may occur.
