Article 22. Ensuring information security

1. In Kazakhstan, created and strengthened national system of information security, including public information resources. V053923
2. Decision-making bodies and officials of the Republic of Kazakhstan for foreign political and economic issues should be based on objective and proactive information on trends in global political and economic development situation in politics and economics of other countries, especially neighboring.
3. Responsibility of government agencies, organizations, irrespective of ownership, officials and citizens is to take all necessary measures to prevent:
1) information depending on Kazakhstan;
2) information expansion and blockade by other states;
3) informational isolation of the President, Parliament, Government forces and the national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4. Will not accept any kind has been making and committing acts contrary to national interests:
1) establishment and smooth functioning of the information space of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) of Kazakhstan's accession into the global system of communication and informatics.
5. Prohibited:
1) within five years of taking up permanent residence outside the Republic of Kazakhstan people who have had official status by virtue of access to information constituting state secrets;
2) the spread on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan printed materials and products of the foreign media, the contents of which undermine national security;
3) the disclosure of proprietary and other information related to the interests of the state;
4) Foreign natural and legal persons and stateless persons who are directly and (or) indirectly, own, use, dispose of and (or) to control more than 20 percent equity stake (shares) a legal person - a representative of the media in Kazakhstan or carrying out activities in this area.
