Let’s start our lesson. Today, we are going to talk about synonyms.

First of all, could you tell me what are the synonyms?

Good.

Synonyms are words or phrases which have the same or nearly the same meaning as other words or phrases in the same language:
The words 'small' and 'little' are synonyms.

Open your books at page 117 and here you see a table with two columns.

Let’s find out what is the difference between “join” and “unite”

They have the same meaning but there is a slight difference between them.
