Letter 1

Dear Sirs As a major manufacturer of compressors, we require large quantities of electric motors from 1 to 5 kW. Could you make us an offer for such motors? Please quote your lowest price based on an annual order of 150 motors. We look forward to receiving your detailed offer. Yours faithfully

Letter 2

Dear Sirs We should be obliged if you would give us a quotation for 100 washing machines for delivery in April-May 20.... Your prompt reply will be appreciated. Yours faithfully

Letter 3

Dear Sirs We have obtained your name and address from Gerald Fuller and Co. Ltd., with whom we have done considerable business for some time. They have recommended you as the firm most likely to be able to supply our needs in printing and writing paper. We should be grateful for your most recent price lists and samples, together with details of label, duplicating and poster paper. We will appreciate receiving this information as soon as possible. Dear Sir or Madam I have a large hardware store in Southampton and am interested in the electric heaters you are advertising in the West Country Gazette. Please send me your illustrated catalogue and a price list. Yours faithfully
