Letter 3. Claim concerning a mistake

  Dear Sir Thank you for your letter of 16 March 20... enclosing Invoice No. 350891/15. To our surprise we find that according to the above Invoice you have charged higher prices than you specified in your offer. Please advise us if there has been a change in your policy. Yours faithfully

Letter 4. Claim concerning inappropriate service

  Dear Sir In my letter of 1 August I requested details of your new models of cameras, especially "Velconex-360", but I have not yet received your reply. The details are required urgently and I would be obliged if you could send them without further delay. Yours faithfully

Письмо 4 больше похоже на мягкое напоминание (reminder), а не на претензию. На самом деле письма-напоминания и претензии очень похожи, в их основе лежит одна и та же идея: то, что должно было быть сделано, до сих пор не сделано. И напоминания и претензии могут быть разными по тону – от мягких до достаточно категоричных.
