Краткий переспрос для выражения удивления

Эти краткие вопросы употребляются в ответ на некое высказывание, вызвавшее у вас удивление. Они переводятся на русский язык как «Да?», «Неужели?» иди «Правда?»:

 - You are?

- I am?

- You do?

- She doesn't?

- He docs?

- You did?

- They haven't?

I'm traveling here.

You are the winner!

I hate to fly.

She doesn't like oranges.

Chuck performs stunts.

I just bought a beautiful house.

They haven't seen the movie.

           Чтобы задать вопрос такого типа, надо внимательно слушать, что говорит ваш собеседник, и оперировать тем же вспомогательным глаголом, что и он.

Обшие вопросы и краткие ответы

На общие вопросы в разговорной речи мы чаще всего отвечаем краткими ответами. Краткий ответ состоит из слов yes или по, соответствующего местоимения и вспомогательного глагола (того же, что в вопросе).

Are you married? - Yes, I am. / No, I'm not.

Is Marylin going to write a book? - Yes, she is. / No, she isn't.

Do her parents live in Georgia? - Yes, they do. /No, they don't.

Does the cat like milk? - Yes, it does. / No, it doesn't.

Have you ever been to London? - Yes, we have. / No, we haven't.

Has your friend called you yet? - Yes, he has. / No, he hasn't.

Did Leroy build the house himself? - Yes, he did. / No, he didn't.

Will you be there? - Yes, I will. / No, I won't.

               

ВТОРОСТЕПЕННЫЕ ЧЛЕНЫ ПРЕДЛОЖЕНИЯ обычно стоят в следующем порядке:

 

1. Дополнение (отвечает на вопрос «что?», «кому?» и т.д. и выражено существительным или местоимением);

2. Обстоятельство места отвечает на вопрос «где?», «куда?», «откуда?» и выражено существительным или местоимением;

3. Обстоятельство времени отвечает на вопрос «когда?» и выражено существительным, наречием или

группой слов;

4. Обстоятельство образа действия (отвечает на вопрос «как?» и выражено наречием или словосочетанием);

Подлежащее (who) - Сказуемое (does what) - Дополнение (with what) - Обстоятельство места (where) - Обстоятельство времени (when) - Обстоятельство образа действия (how)

We are meeting Garyat the airportat 7 o'clock.

Caroline has bought a house in Charlotte recently.

Leroy drives his car very fast.

Marilyn doesn't speak Spanish at all.

5. Все определения (отвечают на вопрос «какой?», выражены прилагательными) стоят перед определяемым словом:

Kevin is an intelligent and broad-minded person. Кевин - умный и разносторонний человек.

Look at that big white house!                                   Посмотри на этот большой белый дом!

Если к одному определяемому слову относится несколько определений, они обычно стоят в следующем порядке:

Количество – Качество – Размер – Форма – Возраст - Температура – Цвет – Узор – Происхождение - Материал

Caroline bought a beautiful long black striped French-made silk dress.

Кэролайн купила красивое длинное черное в полосочку шелковое платье, сделанное во Франции.

Dave is selling two expensive medium-sized old red brick houses.

Дейв продает два дорогих среднего размера старых дома из красного кирпича.
